Aug. 20th, 2020 12:54 pmSummer Games Done Quick is live, and they had, as tradition requires, an "Awful Games Done Quick" block.
We were unable to stay up for it, but apparently one of the games is "Pringles: The Video Game" which is a Mario ripoff where you play as the Pringles head. (Yes, just the head. What do you mean, you need legs to jump?) The category was Any%, which means you need to complete the game as quickly as possible by any means necessary. According to a friend who stayed up to watch, dying in a level technically completes it, just with the lowest ranking - therefore, the Pringles game speedrun is just throwing yourself into the void, over and over and over.
I love GDQ.
