THE YARN HUNGER IS UPON US AGAIN

We've just discovered this absolutely gorgeous bamboo yarn that comes in a WHOPPING 48 DIFFERENT COLORS. FORTY. EIGHT. For context, it is HARD to find 100% bamboo yarn in a decent selection of colors, and here we've got the motherlode dropped on us!

What's more, this is yarn of a lighter weight than what we've been using right now. It does mean patterns would need to be adjusted and projects would take longer because you need more yarn for the same size, but it also means that we can combine two strands at a time for even more color variation! I'm drooling thinking about it.

We have too many expenses and too much yarn as it is to justify purchasing more, but HMM. SOMEDAY.

I wonder if a Plural Yarn Swap or general Craft De-stashing community would ever get off the ground? We have some yarn we couldn't really do anything with, but none of it is, like... that great. It's mostly acrylic and low-quality cotton. (Because that was what we could afford, and what was in Astraea's cheap yarn stash they unloaded onto us. :p) Meanwhile, I keep wanting alpaca yarn but I think if I ever got any good stuff, I'd, like... never use it and just keep it on a shelf to stare at. Even though I rant about MIB/NRFB toy and game collectors who never use their stuff for its intended purpose.
