Something neat spotted on Twitter today. Emmengard, a plural system, finished up a mural on plurality: https://twitter.com/Emmengard1/status/1300806470422810625

There is a kind of visual short-hand of shattered glass or a broken mirror, which people use when talking about multiple personalities [DID & plurality generally] We have never liked that. We are not glass. We are living beings.

When injured we do not shatter, we heal, we grow, we keep going, not only plurals, all of us do. We are not broken. To be broken would imply there is only one way for a tree to grow and that those trees that fail to grow that one way are defunct and bad trees.

No one is broken. But, many are hurting, because growing is not easy. Whoever you are, we wish you all the best on your journey.

We hope you enjoy our mural. We will have a plaque on the wall next to it that says all the things we just said about plurality.

It really is! I love the imagery of the multiple branches sprouting from the person's head, like a small forest.
