Mar. 1st, 2021 05:47 pmWe found a super neat symptom-tracking app:
https://bearable.app
It's made by people who are chronically ill themselves and understand the struggles of tracking your health. Unlike a lot of apps we've tried, which either require a lot of typing and thinking or are agonizingly simplistic, this one is BOTH super configurable and super simple to actually use on a day-to-day basis. The majority of the app is just tapping on preset options (which you can customize yourself), with optional spaces for specific times/notes/etc if you feel like going into detail.
There is a premium subscription you can buy, but it mostly just gives you access to personalized statistics (which we don't use anyway). Most of the core features are free. Your data is encrypted on their servers, they don't show you ads, and they don't sell your information.
Being super configurable does mean it's a bit overwhelming to set up at first. And unfortunately it's app-only, which means you're required to have a smartphone to use it. But it's a pretty neat resource and we've been able to stick with it longer than the other tracker apps we've used, and found it more useful! We hope it can help others as well.

Date: 2021-03-02 03:33 pm (UTC)We have our own tracking system we're used to, but seeing how far ahead the memory work charting essay is in the poll, we may mention this app for other people to try!
Can you access the numbers and data from prior, or download the results in spreadsheet form?

Date: 2021-03-02 04:46 pm (UTC)We've also asked the subreddit if anyone has a full list of features that subscribing to premium gives you, since I can't seem to find such a list on their website or anywhere else except in the app, while unsubscribed. I'll update you when I have an answer!
Edit: Here's the list, according to the developer:
